Sominé Dolo
Founder and President of Kanaga ConsultingSominé Dolo is the founder of Kanaga Consulting, which he laid the foundations for in 2011. Currently president of Kanaga Consulting, Sominé also heads the group's Development division. Sominé's career began in the world of venture capital, where he honed his skills and knowledge of the global economic financial landscape. His journey then led him to influential roles as a consultant at the World Bank and Kaiser EDP, where he made significant contributions to international development and economic strategy. With over twenty years of experience advising public and private entities, Sominé has conducted socio-economic studies across North America and French-speaking Africa, leaving a lasting impact on various sectors. His expertise covers key areas including economics, finance and natural resource governance. He holds an MBA from Texas Christian University in the United States and holds certifications such as Certified Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant. He is also a Member of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants of Mali.
Adama DOLO
Senior ConsultantAdama is a senior consultant specializing in extractive sector governance and based in our Montreal office. Adama holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Finance from the University of Sfax (Tunisia). She has also completed several specialized training courses in the governance of the extractive sector. In recent years, she has contributed to several missions focused on the governance of the extractive sector in West Africa, particularly on issues of local content, fight against corruption and money laundering. She also worked at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics as a project manager.
Mariam Semega
Consultante SéniorMariam Semega is a senior consultant specializing in project management who joined Kanaga Consulting in 2020. She is responsible for managing private sector development and economic development missions linked to the extractive sector in French-speaking Africa. Mariam holds a Master's degree in Project Management and a degree in Business Administration (international management profile) from the University of Quebec in Montreal
Ismael Tounkara
Country Manager GuineaIsmael Tounkara joined kanaga in 2021 following the establishment of our Conakry office which he manages. After his beginnings in the banking sector, Ismaël then embarked on a dynamic career which led him into the world of consulting and economic studies. Over the years, he has participated in several research and advisory missions to a wide range of clients, including businesses, institutions and various stakeholders, helping them address complex strategic challenges and achieve their objectives.
